NoteWorthy is a music transcription and practice app for guitarists. It lets you load audio or video files from your device, create timeline annotations, render guitar tablature, use a tuner and metronome, and practice ear training.
This policy explains what data NoteWorthy accesses, how it is used, and how you can delete it.

NoteWorthy may access the following data when you use app features:
User-selected media files are used to play audio/video, build a waveform, detect musical notes, create annotations, and generate tablature.
Microphone audio is used only for real-time pitch detection in the tuner. Microphone audio is processed on your device.
NoteWorthy does not record tuner audio, upload tuner audio, sell it, or use it for advertising or analytics.
Transcription data and settings are stored locally on your device so the app can reopen your songs, annotations, and preferences.
NoteWorthy does not require an account.
In the current version, NoteWorthy does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data with the developer or third parties. Media analysis and transcription features run on your device.
If a future version adds cloud sync, analytics, crash reporting, ads, accounts, or other online services, this policy and the Google Play Data safety information will be updated before those features are released.
NoteWorthy requests microphone permission for the tuner. The permission is requested when you use the tuner feature.
If you deny microphone permission, the tuner will not work, but the rest of the app can still be used.
NoteWorthy uses system file pickers and save dialogs so that you choose which media files to open and where exported files are saved.
Transcription data, settings, generated files, and selected song metadata are stored locally on your device until you delete them.
You can delete songs and their annotations in the app. You can also delete exported files using your device file manager, and you can delete all app data by uninstalling NoteWorthy or clearing the app's storage in Android settings.
Because NoteWorthy does not currently create accounts or upload user data to a server, there is no server-side account or cloud data to delete.
NoteWorthy is designed to process user media and microphone audio locally on your device. Avoid importing files from sources you do not trust.
If future versions transmit data, transmitted data will be protected using modern encryption such as HTTPS.
NoteWorthy is not designed for children. It is intended as a music transcription and practice tool for musicians.
This policy may be updated when app features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this policy will be updated when changes are made.
